Kutiyana : 5 inches of rain in just 6 hours.


Kutiyana : 8/8/2003.
Once again rain came down in Kutiyana today, started this morning and by midday when it stopped 5 inches was recorded. One person died in the near by village Bhadula, 27 years old Popat Ramdas who was drowned in the river.

Porbandar
Due to non stop rain over the 5 days there has been flood in city's some areas, there is 2 to 3 feet high water opposite Chambers of commerce office, old fuwaro, Yuganda road and near Suruchi hospital on Vadiya road. Our reporter from Ghed area says that water is flowing high in some areas, on highway from Porbandar to Veraval near Miyari and other towns water is 4 to 6 feet high and all the transport is cut off in this part of the Ghed.
